About Wooden Boat River Tours
Our History
Since 1978, our parent company FatBoy Fishing has been offering custom
guided fishing trips on the Snake River in Jackson Hole and the traditional
wooden Mackenzie River Boat has been the floating craft of choice.
Now through Wooden Boat River Tours this same private experience
is offered to the non-fisherman. This tour focuses on the wildlife,
flora and majestic scenery of the valley's riparian habitat as well
as offering a rare opportunity to enjoy a private river experience
in a finely crafted wooded boat.

Our Boats
At Wood Boat River Tours, we like to think that our boats speak for our
dedication to quality and attention to detail. The boats are traditional
in design and fabricated of the finest materials available. Most have
been hand built by the guide who operates it and each craft has a bit
of that guide's personality in the custom finishing touches on his boat.
Simply put, the boats are our mission statement, when we need to look
back to see who we are or how we do things, we need look no further than
our boats.
