Full Day Custom Tours
Choose What to See and Do
Enjoy a full day tour on the Snake River in one of our traditional wooden dories, customized to your specific requirements and interests. We've been guiding on the Snake River since 1978 and our knowledge of the river, and the plants and animals that call it home is extensive.
We can show you:
There are seven nesting pairs on this section of the river.
The best fishermen on the river.
They are often followed by a "paddling" of ducklings.
Sand Hill Cranes
Beautiful in flight, with a distinctive call that can be heard for miles.
And a number of other waterfowl, mammals, mature groves and delicate wild flowers.
Bird watchers and photographers will appreciate the stealthy approach
of a wooden boat. We can also make our way into the river's many side channels which can't be accessed by the typical commercial raft. Our dories also provide a stable platform for standing to identify that unusual bird or taking that special photograph. Midway through our tour we will stop for a delicious lunch at our private riverside tipi camp.
