Visit Us for the 16th Annual Wooden Boat Show!
We always begin our spring off season with a trip the McKenzie River Wooden Boat Festival held on the banks of that famous river in Vida, Oregon. This year I brought the newest addition to our working fleet, a 1995 Rapid Robert built by legendary builder and close friend Ray Heater. It took 40 hours of sanding and varnishing to bring this beauty to the high level that we demand of all boats in our working fleet, but it’s a labor of love that we all enjoy.
Our Riverside Tipi Camp opens on May 20th this year. If you book your trip before this date you will receive last year’s rates. Save some money and book early!
The 16th Annual Snake River Wooden Boat Show will take place on May 28th. The show is free and open to the public, so come out and visit us. We will have boats from both our working fleet and our historic fleet on hand. I expect boats from around the intermountain west to join us in this celebration of fine, hand built River boats.
